In an effort to preserve the wildlife in Missouri, we believe that waiting for Deer to reach peak maturity allows for us to do our part in preserving the Deer population and enabling superb Hunting grounds. Prior to the fall of 2004, High Mountain Whitetails was extensively managed for mature Bucks. Since its enclosure, no Hunting, with the exception of a few doe Hunts, had taken place. However, beginning in the fall of 2004, Buck Hunting began to help control the game population.
High Mountain Whitetails prides itself in the ability to cater to a wide range of Hunters-young, elderly, or disabled. Our guides are well trained, and will strive to help you harvest the size of Trophy you are looking for. Our number one goal is to provide our Hunters with a first-class experience. As an added bonus, we also have a herd of Rocky Mountain Elk roaming the preserve, with some of the bulls scoring between 380-400 B.C.
